How pasted lyrics, draft text, browser storage and third-party services are handled across Enodo's Scaffold, Notepad, Lyric Analyzer, Rhyme Finder and Note Trainer.
Enodo processes text you paste into the Scaffold, Lyric Analyzer or Rhyme Finder so it can split the text into lines, count syllables, detect likely song sections, estimate rhyme families and create an editable structure for your own draft.
The tools can also process draft lines you type into the Scaffold or Notepad, notes, section labels, rhyme markers, manual syllable and rhyme-label edits, plus Note Trainer answers and settings.
In the current code, pasted lyrics are processed in the browser. The app code does not include a network request that uploads pasted lyric text to an Enodo application server for scaffold generation, syllable analysis or rhyme analysis.
Generated scaffold data is saved in your browser's localStorage so the same browser can reload the current scaffold later. That means lyric text and draft text can remain on your device inside the browser profile until you clear it.
Do not treat browser storage as a permanent backup. Clearing site data, using private browsing, switching browsers, switching devices or browser cleanup tools can remove saved work.
The current tool uses browser localStorage for working data. The stored data may include:
.enodo.json format;The homepage may also keep a temporary shuffled feature order in sessionStorage for the current browser tab. It contains only tool identifiers, no lyric or personal data, and is discarded with the tab session.
You can remove this data by using the clear/reset option inside the tool where available, or by clearing site data for enodolyrics.com in your browser settings.
Pages on this site load Google Tag Manager, which can be used to deliver analytics or measurement tags. Tags loaded through it may collect technical and usage information (such as pages visited, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device details) and may set cookies, in accordance with Google's own privacy policies. Enodo does not use this data to identify you, and none of the lyric or draft text you type in the tools is sent to analytics by the app code. You can limit this collection with browser tracking protections, content blockers, or by disabling cookies for this site.
Enodo also sends content-free action events such as opening a tool, trying an example, completing an analysis, changing a workspace tab, and using save, import or export. These events never contain entered lyrics, rhyme words, project names, line text or derived lyric analysis.
Browsers, hosting providers and third-party assets may still create ordinary technical logs or cache files as part of loading a website. Those logs are separate from Enodo's lyric scaffold logic.
Enodo's interface fonts are served from the same Enodo website under their open-font licences. The site does not contact Google Fonts to render its current interface.
The site is also served through web hosting infrastructure. Hosting providers commonly process technical request data such as IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamps and error logs to deliver and secure the site.
The current source reviewed for this page does not include advertising scripts, payment embeds, social media embeds or cloud-account login code.
If you contact Enodo by email, the information you send is handled by the email services involved in sending and receiving the message. The contact email is used to read and respond to the message.
