What a songwriting scaffold does
A songwriting scaffold keeps the useful shape of a reference visible: section order, number of lines and approximate syllable target for each line. It does not generate words. You write an original draft into that structure, then depart from it whenever the song needs to.
This is most useful when a line reads well but feels crowded, a repeated hook keeps changing shape, or a verse loses its rhythmic balance halfway through.

The following copyright-safe lines demonstrate structure, not a writing rule.

A four-line scaffold with similar targets gives the next draft a stable starting pulse. The imagery, subject, rhyme and final delivery remain yours.
Method and workflow
- Paste lyrics you are allowed to use as a structural reference.
- Review the estimated line targets and detected sections.
- Replace each line with original writing in Draft view.
- Use Outline to navigate and Pool to hold candidate lines.
- Adjust counts by ear, save a named project and download a backup.
Limits you should know
Enodo analyses written text. It does not hear melody, tempo, stress, swing, breath, accent or vocal delivery. Syllable counts can vary with pronunciation and performance, so they are drafting targets rather than musical verdicts.
